The Covid-19 Pandemic has been really hard for us all. It has been particularly difficult for those who have lost loved ones through this time. Some deaths will have been due to contracting the virus, for others there were a variety of different causes. What was common for us all, was the difficulty in properly saying ‘Goodbye’ and having a time to collectively remember and grieve.
From Wednesday 13th October through to Saturday 16th October, St Andrew’s Church will be open in the afternoons between 1pm and 4pm, for individuals and families to have some space to remember and reflect. There will be the opportunity to light candles, write the names and stories of loved ones, read helpful reflections and experience the peace of our beautiful church space, to aid this time of remembering.
On Sunday 17th October, there will be a ‘Remembering Service’ at 3 pm to which all are welcome.
Please pass this information around – tell you friends and neighbours. The church will be open to anyone and everyone to help in their journey of grief and remembering.
