ABC is a group for:
• Adults – mums, dads, grandparents, and other adults responsible for caring for children
• Babies – from birth
• Children – toddlers and children up to just before they start at school
Well actually ABC is currently two separate groups, one meeting on a Monday morning, and the other on Wednesday afternoons. Both meet in St Andrew’s Church Hall in termtime.
It’s a great place for all to meet up with old friends or make new friends, to play and chat, to make things and sing, to have refreshments and celebrate birthdays, and to have someone else clear up the mess! The group is as much for adults as it is for children.
The groups are run by volunteers, most of them members of St Andrew’s Church, with the aim of providing a warm welcome, and a safe place for people to come and enjoy themselves. We hold short pram services, sometimes in church, at Harvest, Christmas, Easter and the end of the school year, to celebrate God’s love and goodness.
