We meet in church at 4pm on the 4th Sunday of the month for a fun-filled 45 minutes of music, craft and fun together learning about God and Jesus. Afterwards we meet in the church hall for a party tea, usually with plenty of cake, crisps and chocolate!

Please note Family@4 does not take place in August or December. For services in the current month see the "Latest News".

If you’ve been thinking you’d like to bring your children to church, but are worried about them making noise, or not knowing what to do, then Family@4 is the service for you. Just follow the St Andrews Haughton-le-Skerne Facebook page and keep an eye out for the updates about our next services, or just come along on the 4th Sunday of the month at 4pm.

It started some years ago, when a group of parents and the youth worker decided to look for an alternative to the traditional services on a Sunday morning. We all realised that we needed something different: somewhere that children could have fun and make noise in church freely while learning together about the Christian faith. The F@4 service was born!

The F@4 service has become popular with families who felt the more formal morning services didn’t fit with their families’ needs.  It gives an opportunity to welcome children baptised outside of the main services into the church family in an informal and welcoming setting. It is aimed at 0-11 year olds, but we still have teenagers attending because they enjoy it so much!
